Margo and Kevin, together make up @lovefest.productions They both found the underground electronic music scene in the mid/ 90’s, on opposite sides of the country. Their passion for music, dance and community has driven them for decades.

They met in Vancouver 15 years ago. Margo was actively involved with Subversive, a promotions company offering the city's finest underground events. Kevin was DJing and also throwing smaller events with a separate crew. They joined forces in 2011 and have spent the last 15 years focused on family, raising 3 kids and eventually relocating to Vancouver Island.

In 2022, with the envisioning of a “Lovefest” anniversary party, the pair returned to their roots. What was supposed to be a one off celebration, has become an annual event and a slow build up of regular event production.

With the addition of a Boutique HK Audio system, “Lovefest 2025” was a VERY good time. It became very apparent they had outgrown a one weekend a year event.

Kevin’s experience includes a degree in Audio Engineering from OAIRT as well as a construction contractor. His technical DJing skills are seamless and precision based. With almost three decades of experience, he is a skilled selector. Playing to the dance-floors set and setting he is quality through and through with a diverse ability and sound scape.

Margo’s passion for the underground and dance community is a spiritual connection. The bringer and curator of vibes, and the warmer of dance floors. Whether it’s deep soulful hugs, stickers, gum, a well timed candy, she’s really the “rave momma” every party needs. Her creative and unique presence is well known and her warm approach precedes her.

The combined skills of Margo and Kevin pair complimentary to create memorable and carefully curated experiences.

With the intentional return to creating quality events, with a focus on longer sets, dance, and community building. They want to bring the best parts of their past into the current, and make musical magic in venues on Vancouver Island and Vancouver.
